Since 2022 we've been creating designs centred around the Irish language. Along the way we've shared plenty of ideas that didn't quite fit the fukil brand, but some were just too good not to be worn. GANZEE is their new home: designs that sit outside the stricter guidelines of our other products.

Alongside the counties sit our designs featuring the famous Irish Claddagh. As a cherished symbol of Irish culture, we took our time to visualise it in a way unique to fukil and the GANZEE range: a dotted line of hearts, the Claddagh taken apart, and a split pair named for the side they sit on when worn.

Through GANZEE we get to celebrate more facets of Irish culture. To mark the launch, our County Collection features a custom, human-made selection of historic crests and titles for Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.
Every crest was produced in house and without the use of AI, with streamlined detail made for casual wear. Choose a centred crest or a side crest, in egret with the county colour or navy with off-white. More counties to come.
03 · the heritage tee
the heritage tee
This one we present with personal pride. The Heritage Tee is a tribute to our founder's grandfather, Art McGann (circled, standing in the doorway), a passionate Gaeilgeoir and founding member of Tír na nÓg hurling club in Co. Antrim.
The handmade lettering across the chests of the club's hurlers was too perfect a parallel to our own work to ignore, so we faithfully recreated it in its Irish Insular style, keeping the guidelines you can still see in the photo.

Fukil is the phonetic spelling of the Irish word "focal" which means word.
